Substitute Teacher

We are looking for substitute teachers who can cover classes for absent teachers and fritids staff from preschool class (f-klass) up to year 9 in all subjects.

Clear instructions are provided, and lesson plans are always supplied by the permanent teacher. The role also includes taking attendance according to the school's routines and following our common guidelines and policies.

Some assignments may be pre-planned, but often it involves stepping in at short notice. Therefore, you need to be able to commute reasonably to Upplands Väsby.

Job Responsibilities

This is an opportunity for someone with experience working with children, who would like to learn what it is like to work as a teacher and/or in fritids, or perhaps is studying to become a teacher and is looking for some extra work.

• Has a positive attitude (knowledge of low-affective behavior is a plus).
• Is flexible and can come in at short notice.

We place great importance on personal suitability. Previous experience is an advantage but not a requirement – the most important thing is your attitude and commitment!

English is our working language, so it is essential that you are fluent in both English and Swedish.

It is also important to have a valid work permit to work in Sweden and a recent police clearance check as required by law when working with children.
