About the Role

• Location: Vetlanda

• Working Hours: Irregular hours and shift work apply

• Employment Type: Fixed-term contract for 6 months with a possibility of extension (full-time)

• Start Date: Immediately or as agreed

As a machine operator in the metal industry, you are responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining various types of machinery in production. You ensure that work is carried out according to drawings, dimensions, instructions, and current quality requirements. The role involves setting up machines, changing tools or components, performing routine checks, and making necessary adjustments to ensure stable process operation.

You work according to established routines and safety regulations, document any deviations, and actively participate in improvement work. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to efficient, safe, and high-quality production.

As a person, you are detail-oriented, responsible, and structured, with the ability to maintain focus even at a high pace. You work methodically, solve problems in a calm and thoughtful manner, and are not afraid to ask questions when needed. Formal Qualifications

• Category B driver's license and access to a car

• Good knowledge of Swedish

• Experience working with industrial robots or automated production cells within the metal, engineering, or manufacturing industry

Merits

• Forklift license A+B

• Overhead crane license

• Experience reading and interpreting drawings, dimensions, and work instructions

• Experience with basic machine settings or tool changes
