Job Responsibilities

We are based in Nässjö and are looking for you who want a long-term role where you can develop and thrive over a long period. The position combines working on-site in Nässjö with travel for work, and our goal is to distribute the work approximately half in the field and half at the home base in Nässjö.

In the role of traveling electrician, which we at Infranord call Field Technician, you work in a team and are responsible for planning, leading, and performing electrical and signaling work in the field. Your work includes:

• Field assignments: Detailed planning of work, mounting and installing equipment, as well as testing and commissioning within electrical and signaling systems.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical parts of the facility as needed.
• Workshop: Performing assembly and installation of electrical and signaling equipment at the Components workshop in Nässjö between field assignments.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an electrical technical education from upper secondary school or equivalent. A B-driver's license is required, as well as good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Troubleshooting in electrical power and automation plants.
• Low-voltage installations.
• The railway or contracting industry.

For the right person, we will train and invest in you through knowledge in remote control and signaling technology. The goal is to become an inspector in remote control.
