Bemanning Sverige Byrå ABStockholms län, Stockholm
Previous experience is desired
We are now looking for an experienced KMA (Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health & Safety) Manager within the civil engineering and construction sector for Stockholm's most popular construction company.
Do you want to build the future with us within earthworks and concrete, foundation work, and rock excavation? Do you have a passion for quality, environment, and working conditions – and do you like being close to production where the real action happens? Do you want to help shape an organization in strong growth while driving issues that make a real difference? Then this could be your next step.
Do you want to continue developing your career as a KMA Manager in civil engineering and concrete?
The company is a well-respected firm in both earthworks and construction concrete, handling projects ranging from medium-sized to large-scale projects up to 400 million SEK. This is a highly popular and flexible organization with good support resources and fast decision-making processes, where you as the KMA Manager will be part of the management group.
About the Company
The company continues its success story and is now looking for another project/contracting engineer for its civil engineering projects in the Greater Stockholm area.
Since its founding in 1983, the company has been driven by the need to provide qualified concrete work. We have approximately 250 employees in Stockholm, with offices on both the South and North sides, located in spacious, modern premises centered around our customers.
We offer varied work with exciting challenges and diverse tasks where well-being, joy, and employees are in focus. We offer a future-oriented environment and an organization with development opportunities and exciting projects. Here you get a modern way of working with short decision-making paths, where you as an employee have great opportunities to influence your work and the projects you work on.
Do you want to continue expanding with us?
With us, you meet a culture with short decision-making paths, high engagement, and strong team spirit – and you get great opportunities to influence both your own role and the company's development.
Your Role as KMA Manager
As the KMA Manager, you are part of the management group and have a central role in developing and driving our work with quality, environment, and occupational health & safety. You will be the one ensuring that we not only comply with laws and standards – but also take the next step to become a role model in the industry.
You will, among other things:
- Develop and drive KMA work, our management systems, and policies.
- Ensure that laws, regulations, and external requirements are met.
- Be a support for the projects – from start to finish – regarding KMA issues.
- Plan and conduct internal audits and supplier assessments.
- Analyze, follow up, and develop processes for continuous improvement.
In short – you become the one responsible for ensuring that we not only build strong structures, but also a safe, sustainable, and high-quality working environment for both employees and customers.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have both experience and engagement within KMA, and who thrive in the role as both a strategist and production-savvy professional. You are confident in leading and driving issues at a high level, but equally enjoy being out in the projects and contributing hands-on.
As a person, you are driven, solution-oriented, and down-to-earth – and you enjoy combining analytical work with practical efforts in the field.
We are looking for you who have:
- Relevant education in construction, environment, or occupational health & safety.
- At least 5 years of experience in KMA work within the civil engineering industry, preferably with a focus on concrete.
- Good knowledge of legislation and standards within KMA.
- Experience with audits and improvement work.
- Ability to create engagement, build relationships, and collaborate.
- Driver's license B and good computer skills.
What you get with us:
- A key role in a growth journey – where you can make a real impact.
- A workplace with strong engagement and high tempo.
- Opportunity to work on technically exciting projects in Stockholm.
- A culture characterized by team spirit, short decision-making paths, and great freedom under responsibility.
We warmly welcome your application!
This recruitment is done in collaboration with construction-savvy professional handlers at Bemanning Sverige, who will answer all your questions and process your application.
