We are now looking for you who wants to become a Senior Platform Engineer in our IP-Services team.

How you will make a difference with us

NMS-IP is Telenor's central platform for operations, monitoring, and control of the IP infrastructure. The platform is business- and society-critical and an important part of Sweden's digital communication infrastructure, where high availability, robustness, and stable operations are crucial.

In the role of Senior Platform Engineer, you work with architecture, further development, and daily operations of the platform. You drive technical decisions while being hands-on in the environments. The platform is entirely on-premise and runs in Telenor's own data centers, which means close collaboration between the platform, underlying infrastructure, and network.

The role involves close collaboration with the data center team, IP network team, as well as other platform and security teams. Through your work, you directly contribute to a secure, stable, and reliable network infrastructure for Telenor's customers and society-critical services.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We need you who is on your toes! You have a genuine desire to learn and develop so that we can meet customers' constantly changing needs – today and tomorrow.

We are looking for you who has:

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat.
• Experience in virtualization (5+ years), primarily VMware.
• Experience in operations (5+ years) of business- or society-critical platforms.
• Ability to work with both architecture and operational operations.
• Experience in Automation and IaC, for example Ansible.
• Experience in implementing monitoring solutions and system-near tools.

Meritorious:

• Container platforms such as Kubernetes/K3S.
• Git and CI/CD flows, for example GitLab.
• Experience in networking or IP environments (meritorious but not a requirement).

For this role, it is required that you live in Sweden and have the right to work here (the role involves society-critical infrastructure and readiness). The location is in Stockholm, Umeå, Karlskrona, or Karlskoga.
