About the role

We are looking for a Plastic Repair Technician for our client in Gustavsberg. The position starts immediately, and you will work as a consultant through Fordonsakademin in a workshop environment, performing plastic repairs and minor bodywork. The role requires attention to detail, a keen eye for quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team. This position is ideal for you who have experience in plastic or automotive repairs and want to contribute to high-quality vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform plastic repairs, including sanding, gluing, welding, and finishing according to current instructions and quality standards.
• Assemble and disassemble plastic parts, checking fit and function before and after repair.
• Prepare surfaces for painting in collaboration with painters, including cleaning and masking.
• Document completed work and report deviations or the need for further actions to the supervisor.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area and follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the workshop to ensure efficient workflows and quick delivery times.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is responsible, detail-oriented, and has a technical interest. Experience in plastic repairs within the automotive industry or similar work is advantageous. You thrive in practical tasks, work in a structured manner, and have good teamwork skills. Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

• Experience in plastic repair or bodywork is a plus.
• Practical ability to use tools and machinery for sanding, heat work, and gluing.
• Ability to work efficiently under time pressure without compromising on quality.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a team.
• A valid driver's license (Category B) is a plus.

Working Hours

Daytime hours with flexibility depending on the client's needs. Exact times will be discussed during the interview.

Employment Type & Duration

Full-time, consultancy assignment via Fordonsakademin with the possibility of extension or transition to the client's permanent employment, depending on performance and needs.
