About the role

M5 Bygg is growing and is now looking for an experienced and meticulous tile setter who wants to become part of their team. This role is perfect for you if you enjoy practical work, take pride in your profession, and want to deliver neat, durable, and professional results to their customers. At M5, you will work on varied renovation projects, primarily within bathrooms, kitchens, and residential renovations. You will become a key part of M5's projects and work closely with customers, colleagues, and project managers to ensure high quality from start to finish.

What the role entails

As a tile setter at M5 Bygg, you will work with tiling in various types of renovation projects, primarily for private customers. You are responsible for performing the work meticulously, efficiently, and in accordance with current industry standards. The work may include everything from preparation and waterproofing to laying tiles, ceramics, and grouting. You need to be confident in the entire process and have a keen eye for detail, finish, and quality. Since many of M5's projects take place in customers' homes, it is important that you are service-oriented, tidy, and have a professional demeanor. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performing tiling in bathrooms, kitchens, and other spaces.
• Working with tiles, ceramics, mosaics, and other materials.
• Performing preparatory work, leveling, and preparations for tiling.
• Working with waterproofing membranes according to current regulations and requirements.
• Reading and following drawings, work descriptions, and project plans.
• Ensuring that the work is performed with high quality and a good finish.
• Collaborating with project managers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades.
• Maintaining order on the job site and following schedules.
• Having a professional and service-oriented dialogue with customers when necessary.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience with tiling and are confident in your profession. You are meticulous, self-reliant, and take responsibility for ensuring the work is done correctly from start to finish. To thrive in this role, we see that you have:

• Experience with tiling, at least 3 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of tiles, ceramics, grouting, and preparatory work.
• Experience with waterproofing and work in wet rooms.
• Ability to read and understand work descriptions and drawings.
• An eye for detail and a sense for a neat finish.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility on the job site.
• Good teamwork skills and a professional demeanor.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good knowledge of Swedish or English.

It is an advantage if you have a wet room certificate, previous experience with residential renovations, carpentry, or other practical construction tasks.
