Do you have experience in managing large industrial projects and a good understanding of laws and authority requirements? Entrecon Consulting receives continuous requests from our clients for skilled and experienced project managers.

The Assignment

The assignments will involve new construction, renovation, and extension of industrial facilities. The role of project manager involves independently leading and being responsible for the specific construction project.

The project manager role entails overall responsibility for each construction project, where the project manager shall:

• Lead the project stakeholders
• Negotiate land purchases
• Drive detailed planning work
• Procure consultants and contractors
• Be responsible for design documentation
• Be responsible for the execution of contracts
• Create and reconcile production budgets
• Monitor and report on the project

The project manager has a clear result responsibility and acts as the client's and building owner's representative at construction meetings, design meetings, development meetings, meetings with authorities, etc.

Competencies

We are looking for you who are a business-minded, result-oriented, and market-oriented project manager with several years of professional experience from industrial projects. We see an advantage if you have an academic degree, preferably with a focus on construction or equivalent.

You have experience from the contracting side where you have worked on both new and renovation projects, from idea and land purchase to handover.

The role requires good knowledge in planning, design, and project management with leadership and project control, cost monitoring, budgeting and forecasting, as well as production. Knowledge of contract law is highly meritorious, and you should have qualifications as a safety coordinator BAS P and BAS U.

We believe that you are well-established in the industry with a developed network, are customer- and market-oriented with strong drive. Furthermore, you are expected to be a pronounced team player, proactive with the ability to commercially execute and conclude initiated projects. Being structured, responsible, analytical, and quick to prioritize are qualities we believe are important to succeed in this role.
