About the role of Construction and Project Manager

As a Construction and Project Manager with us, you will have overall responsibility, from start to finish, for projects concerning new construction, extensions, and renovations. You independently manage budget, schedule, and technical issues within the projects you lead.

Your main responsibilities:

• Procurement of construction and site contractors
• Follow-up of construction contractors
• Review of construction documents
• Create request for proposal (RFP) documents
• Procurement and negotiations with contractors
• Present project proposals to the board
• Create, follow up, and be responsible for project cost estimates
• Contact with authorities
• Customer and supplier contacts
• Schedule and cost control
• Quality and environmental management

You ensure that the client's responsibilities are met in the projects and are responsible for following up on contractor and consultancy services in the projects you lead. You also participate in the follow-up of completed projects as well as during the warranty period. You are responsible for ensuring that projects, through all phases, integrate and meet established sustainability and environmental requirements, such as Miljöbyggnad, applicable environmental legislation, and relevant steering documents. You drive sustainability issues in early stages and follow up on project performance in areas such as energy, material selection, indoor environment, and climate impact.

We see that you:

• Have documented experience from a similar role as a project manager or building engineer with several years of experience independently leading construction projects.
• Have training in AutoCAD or equivalent.
• Have good experience working in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B) (requirement).
• Speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
• Have good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act (PBL) and other laws concerning new construction, extensions, and renovations.
