Inviatech is now looking for land and water/sewage (VA) designers who want to develop in an exciting position.

About the role

At Inviatech, you work in close collaboration with colleagues and projects. Assignments are usually staffed with a land designer and a VA designer who drive the projects forward together. Depending on the assignment, the work may be mixed with site visits and joint work at the customer's premises or in the office.

The role has a clear focus on production, where the majority of the time is spent on construction, design, and the creation of technical documentation, drawings, and quantity surveys. Meetings and coordination occur, but approximately 70% of the work consists of actual design work.

As a VA designer, you are an important part of the entire process – from tender documents and construction documents to stormwater investigations and final deliveries. You work closely with the client, with short decision-making paths and good opportunities to influence your work.

Key responsibilities

• Design of land, roads, and water/sewage (VA), as well as stormwater investigations for renovation, extension, and new construction
• Design of residential buildings, industries, preschools, schools, and other operational premises
• Creation of technical documentation such as investigations, tender documents, construction documents, and as-built documentation
• Construction, drawing production, and preparation of quantity surveys
• Collaboration in project teams where land and VA work closely together throughout the entire process
• Technical advice, consultation, and support to clients in both total and execution contracts
• Ongoing coordination, check-ins, and meetings within the framework of the projects

Requirements for the position

• Post-secondary technical education in land, water/sewage (VA), or engineering
• At least one year of experience working with land and/or VA design
• A strong technical interest and a clear desire to work with production

Qualifications that are a plus

• Experience with stormwater investigations
• Knowledge of heavy rainfall issues
• Experience working according to AMA standards
• Experience with environmental/working environment work, for example in the role of BAS-P and/or BAS-U
