We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager specializing in earthworks and civil engineering for an exciting and long-term assignment within infrastructure in the Stockholm area. In the role of Construction Manager Earthworks, you have operational responsibility for leading and monitoring earthworks and civil engineering works during the production phase of a larger infrastructure project.

You work closely with contractors, project management, and external stakeholders, ensuring that the work progresses according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements. The role also involves coordinating traffic management measures and maintaining dialogue with relevant authorities and municipalities.

• Participate in production and scheduling for earthworks and civil engineering works
• Monitor contractor performance regarding time, cost, and quality
• Manage variation and additional works (ÄTA)
• Review and contribute to tender documents and technical specifications
• Coordinate contractors and ensure progress in production
• Responsible for traffic management (TA) and contact with the municipality
• Monitor self-inspections, measurement protocols, and test results
• Participate in inspections and handovers

Essential Requirements

• At least 9 years of experience in a leadership role within earthworks/civil engineering/road or railway (e.g., construction manager, site supervisor, or production manager)
• Experience with production and scheduling
• Good and documented knowledge of AMA and MER Civil Engineering (training completed within the last 5 years)
• Experience working in at least one project >150 M SEK where AMA/MER has been applied
• Experience with traffic closures and training in Work on Roads
• Documented experience in reviewing self-inspections, measurement protocols, and test results
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience working within a client organization (public sector)
• Training in contract law
• BAS-P and BAS-U certification
