Job Description

Background and Assignment Description

A state-owned actor in the energy sector is currently undergoing a comprehensive expansion and strengthening of the national electricity grid. To meet the increased demand, we are looking for an additional resource to work with technical facility documentation in substation projects. The projects aim to build new, rebuild, or strengthen existing electricity grid substations.

The assignment is primarily focused on larger substation projects (gas- and air-insulated substations).

The role is located within a facility documentation unit in a technology or network division. As a consultant, you are part of a team of documentation managers led by a team leader. The work takes place largely in ongoing projects, in close collaboration with project organizations and technical specialists.

The assignment includes ordering, receiving, reviewing, and following up on documentation deliveries from external suppliers, as well as registering technical documentation in the organization's asset management systems. The documentation includes, among other things, drawings, manuals, and technical data related to facilities, and serves as an important basis for operation, maintenance, and long-term management.

Responsibilities

The consultant is responsible for handling technical documentation in facility projects from start to finish. The work is performed within the project organization and also involves supporting project management in specialist matters and contributing to the project delivering according to set goals.

The assignment includes:

• Participating in the preparation of tender documents
• Ensuring that documentation requirements are met by contractors
• Coordinating documentation deliveries (internally and externally)
• Performing drawing technical reviews
• Registering reviewed and approved documentation in asset management systems

Requirements

1. At least 4 years of experience in assignments as a documentation manager, documentation controller, data coordinator, or another equivalent role with overall responsibility for technical facility documentation.
2. Experience working in at least 2 projects related to the management, renovation, or expansion of existing facilities, such as maintenance measures or reinvestments.
3. Experience handing over at least 1 project regarding documentation (as-built documentation, operation and maintenance documentation) to the operation and management organization.
4. Excellent command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience from 1 project (for at least 1 year) within transmission or regional networks, such as power stations, switchgear, or larger electricity grid facilities.
2. At least 2 years of work experience working with model coordination/BIM.
