Job Description

Background and Assignment Description

The client is currently undergoing a comprehensive expansion and reinforcement of the Swedish national grid. To meet the increased demand, we are looking for an additional resource to work with technical facility documentation in our substation projects.

The substation projects aim to build new, rebuild, or reinforce existing power grid substations in the national grid. The assignment is primarily focused on maintenance measures in existing substations, but work also occurs in AC substations (air-insulated substations) related to ongoing projects.

The role is located at the Facility Documentation Substations unit within the Network Division. As a consultant, you will be part of a team of documentation managers led by a team leader. However, the work takes place mostly in ongoing substation projects, in close collaboration with project organizations and technical specialists.

The assignment includes ordering, receiving, reviewing, and following up on documentation deliveries from external suppliers, as well as entering the technical documentation into the client's asset management system. The technical documentation includes, among other things, drawings, manuals, and technical data related to the facilities, and constitutes an important basis for operation, maintenance, and long-term management of the national grid's substations.

The assignment includes the following tasks:

The consultant will be responsible for handling technical documentation in facility projects from start to finish. The consultant performs the tasks within the project organization. In addition to the tasks listed below, the consultant is expected to support the project management in the current project based on their specialist role and contribute to the project delivering according to its set goals.

• Participation in the preparation of tender documents
• Ensuring that documentation requirements are met by the contractor
• Coordination of documentation deliveries (internal/external)
• Performing drawing technical review
• Entering reviewed and approved documentation into Svenska Kraftnät's asset management system

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in assignments as a documentation manager, documentation controller, data coordinator, or similar role with overall responsibility for technical facility documentation.
• Experience from at least 2 projects related to the management, renovation, or extension of existing facilities, such as maintenance measures or reinvestments.
• Experience in handing over at least 1 project regarding documentation (as-built documentation, operation and maintenance documentation) to the operation and management organization.
• Excellent command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from at least 1 project (for at least 1 year) within transmission or regional networks, such as power stations, switchgear, or larger power grid facilities.
• At least 2 years of work experience with model coordination/BIM.
