On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Construction Manager for Groundworks and Utility Works. The position is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-06-01 and run until 2028-06-01.

About the Assignment

The project involves a major expansion of rail-bound infrastructure across several municipalities, including new stops, extensive ground and civil engineering works, and technical installations. The expansion contributes to increased capacity, improved accessibility, and the development of important urban and business areas in the region.

As a Construction Manager, you will play a key role in completing parts of the expansion. The assignment is primarily linked to a specific section of the line, but may also involve work in other parts of the project.

You will work closely with project management, contractors, and external stakeholders, ensuring progress, quality, and coordination.

Main Responsibilities

• Participate in production planning for groundworks, traffic, and utility works in urban environments.
• Be responsible for traffic control measures (TA) and dialogue with municipalities, as well as coordination with contractors.
• Monitor the contractor's progress regarding time, cost, and quality.
• Handle and document changes and additional works (ÄTA).
• Review quantity surveys and contribute to economic follow-up and forecasts.
• Support contractors in developing work and time schedules.
• Ensure that the work complies with applicable laws, regulations, and requirements.
• Participate in inspections and handover to the operations organization.
• Represent the project in contact with authorities, suppliers, and other external parties.

Start: 2026-06-01 | End: 2028-06-01 with possibility of extension up to 3 years. Scope: 100%, 40 hours per week | Location: Stockholm

About You

We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements:

• At least nine years of work experience in a leading role such as foreman, construction manager, or production manager within Groundworks/Civil Engineering/Railways.
• Good and documented knowledge of AMA and MER standards, with references to training completed in the last 5 years. (At least one assignment larger than 150 MSEK).
• Documented work experience, from at least two projects, involving traffic closures and training in "Work on Roads".
• Experience in reviewing and verifying the contractor's self-control, measurement protocols, and test results regarding bearing capacity and compaction degree (e.g., according to AMA Anläggning).

It is meritorious if you also meet the following requirements:

• At least five years of work experience within a client organization in municipal, regional, or state authorities.
• Documented training in contract law completed within the last five (5) years.
• Documented and valid training as BAS-U and/or BAS-P (The training must have been completed after January 1, 2026).
