Do you want to help shape a modern container platform from the ground up, with the freedom to influence both technical choices and working methods? Our client is currently looking for Platform Engineers to join their growing platform team.

You will step into an environment with modern container architecture, a focus on automation and DevOps, with a gaze set on the cloud. Here, you will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security to build a platform that is robust today and in the future.

About the role

As a Platform Engineer, you are a key figure in developing, maintaining, and improving the organization's container platform and associated toolchains. You are responsible for ensuring a stable, secure, and scalable environment that enables efficient delivery processes for application teams.

The platform is currently run on-premises, and the organization is now exploring cloud possibilities. You can help shape how this journey looks. It is about building environments from scratch, not maintaining a finished system, which requires curiosity, initiative, and a natural drive to move forward.

Responsibilities

• Design, operation, and further development of container-based platforms (on-prem and cloud)
• Implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines according to GitOps principles
• Automation of operational processes, for example using Ansible
• Close collaboration with development teams to improve delivery capability and platform usability
• Participation in incident management and continuous improvement work
• Exploration and introduction of new tools and technologies within the cloud native ecosystem

We are looking for someone who

Has experience with DevOps and platform work, is familiar with container-based environments and Kubernetes, and has good knowledge of Linux, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You have a genuine interest in cloud native technologies and keep up to date with developments in the ecosystem.

As a person, you are curious, pragmatic, and solution-oriented. You thrive in an environment that is still being built and see it as an opportunity to influence rather than a drawback. You work well both independently and in close collaboration with others, and you have a natural drive to improve both technology and working methods.
