Specialist Physician for ASIH in Barkarby – Make a Real Difference, Every Day

When Familjeläkarna was founded in 2008, we did so with a simple but strong idea: to offer our patients the same care that we would want to give to our closest loved ones. This vision still permeates everything we do. We are driven by engagement, care, and responsibility – and by the desire to make a real difference in people's lives.

We are now looking for a specialist physician for our ASIH (Advanced Support and Treatment at Home) service in Barkarby, who wants to help develop the future of person-centered care.

About the Role

As a specialist physician within ASIH, you play a central role in providing and developing high-quality care in the patient's home. You work in a team-based manner and lead an engaged multidisciplinary team where competence, collaboration, and respect for the patient's life situation are in focus.

The work is varied, independent, and meaningful – here you have the opportunity to truly make a difference, every day.

Responsibilities

The role includes, among other things:

  • Providing advanced medical care at home, including end-of-life care, with a focus on symptom relief and the highest possible quality of life

  • Responsibility for and development of care quality, as well as contributing to good collaboration within the team

  • Mentoring and supporting resident physicians (ST-läkare)

  • Documentation in the medical record system Take Care and care planning in Alfa Welfare

The patient group includes, among others, patients with cancer, hematological diseases, COPD, heart failure, and multimorbidity, as well as patients with temporary conditions requiring advanced medical treatments.

Why Choose Familjeläkarna

At our company, initiative, curiosity, and a desire for development are encouraged. Do you want to drive a project or broaden your competence? We support you. Our ASIH service is characterized by innovation, job satisfaction, and genuine engagement with the patient.

Familjeläkarna is characterized by strong personal engagement. Our work starts from the individual's needs and situation to contribute to increased quality of life. Through evidence-based approaches and collaboration with colleges and universities, we ensure the quality of care.

We are a warm and caring workplace with:

  • Flat organization and short decision-making paths

  • High degree of participation and influence

  • Strong team spirit and good collegial support
