Engine Room Cadet/Officer for M/S Visborg – RoPax in the Mediterranean

About the Position

Are you tired of short tours but thrive on RoPax operations and the pace onboard? Are you curious about working away for longer periods when you are on duty? Does the idea of working on a vessel sailing in the Mediterranean appeal to you?

With a 1:1 system and a 4-week rotation as a base, with the possibility of extension upon agreement with a relief officer, the position as Engine Room Officer on M/S Visborg could be the right next step for you.

About M/S Visborg

M/S Visborg operates on charter for Baleria in the Mediterranean, sailing to destinations including Barcelona, Ibiza, Palma, and Valencia.

Wallenius Marine AB crews the operational team on M/S Visborg. The vessel sails under the Maltese flag with a mixed crew onboard.

You will work on a vessel with a friendly, social, and engaged crew in a pleasant working environment. Onboard Visborg, there are also nice common areas, a gym, and a cinema for the crew.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and certificates for the position.
• Good knowledge of English, as it is the working language onboard.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience from RoPax or similar vessels.

Terms

• The position is a permanent employment, starting with a six-month probationary period.
