We are now looking for an experienced and confident leader for an exciting consulting assignment with one of our clients. Here you will have the opportunity to lead a central IT function in an organization undergoing a significant development journey, where you can combine operational responsibility with strategic work.

Your Role

As an interim Group Manager, you will become a key person in the organization and an active part of the management group. You will be responsible for leading and developing a group within IT infrastructure and platforms, with full responsibility for personnel, delivery, budget, and business development.

You will work both operationally and strategically, driving the group's development in line with the organization's goals and change journey.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop employees and ensure the right competencies within the group
  • Responsible for operations, delivery quality, and development work in the area
  • Have budget, forecast, and follow-up responsibility
  • Ensure efficient processes, working methods, and deliveries
  • Drive change work and contribute to the organization's strategic development
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and create clear communication
  • Responsible for IT services within areas such as:
  • Server & Storage
  • Application Operations
  • Cloud Operations
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Network & Infrastructure
  • Operational Security
Qualifications
  • University degree (minimum 180 credits) in a relevant field
  • At least 10 years of experience as a manager with personnel, business, and economic responsibility
  • At least 5 years of experience leading larger teams (at least 15 direct reports)
  • Experience from at least two assignments within IT infrastructure or platforms
  • Experience from at least three assignments with responsibility as project owner/client or equivalent within IT development
  • At least 3 years of experience in planning and monitoring IT operations and maintenance
  • Experience of commercial responsibility (agreements of at least 50 MSEK/year)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within IT in the public sector

Desirable Experience
  • Experience of working according to agile methods in a leadership role
  • Experience of ITIL in an operational or strategic role within IT operations or maintenance
Location

The assignment is carried out in Stockholm with the possibility of a flexible hybrid solution where both remote work and on-site work occur, depending on the business needs.

Timeline and Scope

Start: 2026-05-04
End: 2027-04-30
Scope: Full-time, approx. 40 hours per week
Possibility of extension: Yes, up to 1 + 1 year
