Job Description The assignment involves acting as a software architect and as a system developer in IT administration and/or in development and implementation projects. The assignment may also involve work in other projects and administrations where the development and management of new and existing systems and web applications are included. The assignment may involve work in both larger and smaller teams. Depending on the team size, work may also include everything from requirements and UX parts to testing and coordination with other stakeholders. We work agilely and deliveries often take place in sprints. The systems being developed and maintained must also meet high demands on IT security. The consultant should be interested in and have work experience as a software architect. Interest in developing and testing with a focus on IT security, as well as interest in system architecture and security, is a plus.

Responsibilities

The role of system developer and software architect in projects and administrations may include the following tasks:

• Act as a software architect and lead work within system development
• Design, implementation, and testing of system solutions
• Create or update documentation in the form of requirement and design documents
• Create or update system documentation
• Collaboration within the team but also with other parts of the organization. Handle incidents, which may include debugging and bug fixing, and assist otherwise in the IT administration of our applications.

Requirements

• University or college education of at least 120 credits/180 ECTS in IT or electrical engineering, or equivalent education/work experience.
• At least 15 years of work experience in system development with ASP.NET.
• At least 5 years of work experience in system development with .NET Core (.NET 5.0 or later).
• At least 15 years of work experience in system development with MS SQL databases.
• At least 5 years of work experience in system development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• At least 5 years of work experience in system development with Entity Framework Core.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the development of REST APIs.
• At least 10 years of work experience as a software architect within .NET-based system development.
• At least 5 years of work experience in system development in VBA for Excel.
• Participated in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps in at least two projects.

Value-Added Requirements

• At least 3 years of work experience in IT development within critical infrastructure with very high IT security requirements and associated processes.
• At least 3 years of work experience in system development of applications for analysis and/or operation of power systems.
• At least 3 years of experience in system development of applications for power systems within capacity planning.
