It often starts in the workshop. A machine returns from a customer, used, sometimes worn, sometimes in need of service.

You take over. You inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and ensure it is ready again – safe, functional, and in good condition for its next assignment.

At Hyreslandslaget, this is exactly where you make a difference. You ensure our machines maintain high quality and that our customers can trust what we deliver.

But the role doesn't always stay in the workshop. Sometimes you step out into the real world, help with deliveries, support the rental process, and meet customers directly in the field.

Therefore, your service mindset and social skills are just as important as your technical competence.

About the role

As a service technician, you are responsible for handling returns, reconditioning, and servicing smaller construction and handheld machines.

You work practically, systematically, and with a focus on safety and quality, so that machines can quickly return to rental.

Your main responsibilities

• Receive and recondition machines upon return
• Perform troubleshooting, functional checks, and simple repairs
• Carry out servicing such as cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn parts
• Ensure machines are sorted correctly in the workflow (ready, service, repair)
• Document actions and machine status
• Handle machines with a forklift in the workshop and yard
• Support rental operations and assist customers on-site when needed, including deliveries

Qualifications

• Experience in service or workshop work
• Technical understanding and experience with troubleshooting
• Forklift license (required)
• Category B driver's license (required)
• Computer skills for documentation

Merits:

• Category BE driver's license
• Experience from construction, machinery, or vehicles
• Certifications in e.g., fall protection, safe lifting, or lifts
• Electrical knowledge or technical education

About the company At HLL Hyreslandslaget, you will work in one of Sweden's leading machine rental companies, supplying the Swedish construction and infrastructure industry with machinery. Since our founding in 2011, we now have 27 depots across the country, 17 of which are in the Stockholm area. We rent out construction and infrastructure machinery, as well as lifts, cabins, and trailers.
