General Practitioner at Heby Health Centre – 1100 Patients per Full-Time Equivalent

Heby Health Centre, part of "Nära vård och hälsa" (Close Care and Health) in Uppsala County, is currently seeking General Practitioners (GPs). We offer a unique opportunity to be part of shaping the future of our practice, with the goal of offering 1,100 registered patients per full-time GP by 2026.

Your Responsibilities

At our centre, you will work in close collaboration with all professions within the health centre. Your primary duties include patient consultations, but you will also have opportunities to engage in other stimulating tasks such as supervising BT/AT/ST doctors and taking responsibility for various clinical processes based on your interests.

We place great emphasis on giving you the ability to influence your work schedule, appointment booking, and consequently your own work environment. Some on-call duties and standby responsibilities are included, in line with primary care standards in Uppsala County.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a doctor with specialist competence in general medicine and a Swedish license. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. Since we are in a development phase, it is an advantage if you have an interest in healthcare development with a focus on the patient and patient flows. The ability to work effectively in a team is essential.

Our Practice

Heby Health Centre has approximately 7,000 registered patients, and we are a team of 30 employees. Our practice is broad, representing all professional areas within the health centre's mandate, including a youth clinic. We also have specialized nursing roles in diabetes, asthma/COPD, and heart failure, as well as a geriatric clinic and a district nurse for hypertension patients. We also conduct targeted health talks for 40-year-olds.
