About the Job

At Tommy Nordbergh Åkeri, we are looking for a Traffic Manager with extensive experience in managing long-haul traffic. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about the work and has, through their experience, built close and clear relationships with employees, teams, and customers. Working as a Traffic Manager with us means leading and planning daily transports together with other Traffic Managers. The transports consist largely of domestic, temperature-controlled local, and long-haul shipments. As a Traffic Manager, you are responsible for daily operations. The role involves onboarding new drivers, optimizing vehicles, and monitoring drivers' schedules and working hours. Maintaining good dialogue with colleagues and drivers, as well as adhering to laws and regulations, is essential to us. The role involves some customer contact and follow-up on completed assignments. The position includes scheduled on-call duties or standby shifts. We offer you a job in a dynamic environment with a responsible and exciting role.

About You

We are looking for someone who is responsible and has leadership experience within the industry, as you need to have a good understanding of the customer's business and the driver's working situation. You are flexible, stress-resistant, and have a holistic view, allowing you to maintain a high service level even at a fast pace. You possess leadership qualities, problem-solving skills, social competence, and the ability to collaborate effectively. In this role, you have daily contact with drivers for coordination, planning, and achieving the goals set for the assignments. Competency Requirements

  • Experience from the transport industry.
  • Extensive experience in traffic management or transport planning.
  • High school diploma.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills, particularly with the Office suite.

Merits

  • CE driver's license and experience with domestic long-haul transports and food handling.
  • Post-secondary education in logistics or traffic management.
  • Experience with TransPA and T5 systems.
  • High IT competence.
  • Multilingual.

Duration

Permanent employment with an initial probation period of 6 months.
