Do you have deep practical experience with Business Central and thrive in a role where you take ownership, establish structure, and work with application support? We are looking for a skilled consultant who wants to be the hub for ERP-related support in a business-critical environment.

About the role

This is a full-time consulting assignment lasting 12 months. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant at the client's company. There are good opportunities for extending the assignment.

About the company

The assignment is with an established retail operation where Business Central is a business-critical system for stores, warehouses, and central functions. The role is established to create a clear, sustainable, and traceable support flow around ERP and related business systems.

This represents a change from existing working methods. You are empowered to act as the gatekeeper for all Business Central-related cases, ensuring correct prioritization and protecting development resources from ad hoc support. The goal is fewer disruptions in stores, better decision-making support during escalations, and reduced recurring errors over time.

Responsibilities

In the role of Application Support within Business Central, you become the central contact point for all support cases concerning Business Central and ERP-adjacent business systems. You work closely with the business and stores with a clear mandate to create structure, protect development from unplanned interventions, and ensure the business system functions stably in daily operations.

You receive, prioritize, and drive ERP-related cases from start to finish. This means you analyze problems in Business Central, troubleshoot flows, permissions, and integrations, and determine whether a case can be resolved or needs to be escalated. A key part of the role is ensuring that escalation to development only occurs when there are clear indications of bugs or a need for code or configuration changes – and that the documentation is then complete, reproducible, and correctly prioritized based on business impact.

Beyond operational work, you contribute to the long-term improvement of ERP support. You identify patterns in recurring problems, initiate problem tickets, document solutions, and build a knowledge base around Business Central. During campaigns, peak periods, and incidents, you are a stable point that coordinates information, prioritizes correctly, and ensures clear feedback to the business.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

  • Several years of practical experience with Business Central in operational and support contexts
  • Very good understanding of ERP flows in business-critical environments
  • Experience with qualified support involving troubleshooting, prioritization, and case ownership
  • Good habit of structured work with incidents and problems
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You are confident in your Business Central competence and comfortable taking responsibility for the whole picture. You work methodically, document continuously, and create structure even under pressure. You set clear boundaries, say no when documentation is missing, and explain decisions in an objective and calm manner.

You prioritize based on business and store impact rather than technical convenience, maintain focus during incidents and campaign peaks, and are driven by reducing recurring ERP problems over time. You are ego-free in collaboration – but stable and consistent in the role of ERP gatekeeper.
