About the role

We are now looking for a Paint Preparation Technician for our paint shop in Kungsängen. The role involves working in two shifts together with our painters. You will be a central part of the process both before and after painting, where you prepare the cars for paint and ensure the highest quality in the final finish.

Responsibilities

• Preparation work:

  • Sanding

  • Filling (Body filler)

  • Primer painting

  • Taping/Masking

• Post-processing:

  • Quality control of painted surfaces.

  • Identify and rectify defects such as runs or dust nibs through sanding and polishing.

• Other:

  • Move cars between parking and workshop.

  • Document and register the work in our internal systems.

Working hours & location

• Two shifts: Day shift 06:00–15:00 and evening shift Mon-Thu 14:00–23:00, Fridays 14:00-20:00

• Rotation and schedule are planned within the team to create balance.

• Location: Kungsängen, Stockholm.

Requirements for the role

• Experience with car body filling, sanding, and polishing.

• An eye for detail and strong quality awareness.

• Vocational upper secondary education in automotive/construction is meritorious.

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Valid B-driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.

Personal qualities

• Meticulous and structured with a sense for finish.

• Flexible and cooperative – you help out where needed.

• Independent, but also a team player who enjoys contributing to the whole.
