Summer Job within LSS – Suitable for you who can work independently and make a real difference

We are now looking for 2 people for Kaprifolen for the summer (week 26–34). The positions are at approximately 50% and suit you who appreciate a flexible schedule with different shifts and sometimes longer breaks in between. The majority of shifts are scheduled for late afternoon/evening, which means you are free during the day and have time to enjoy the summer. You must be 18 years old to be employed by us.

This is not a "typical summer job" – here you need to be secure, responsible, and able to work closely with people in their daily lives.

About the activity: Fjällgatan Kaprifolen is a group home within the LSS (Support and Service Act for persons with certain functional impairments) for adults with autism and/or intellectual disabilities.

Your role: As a residential support worker with us, you work with the whole person. This means that you:

• Provide personal care in all parts of daily life

• Support with structure, communication, and social interaction

• Work with low-arousal approach and clear pedagogy

• Help with meals, cleaning, and activities

• Document and follow implementation plans

Working hours vary – you work days, evenings, and sometimes sleeping on-call duties. Some shifts are shorter (e.g., 16–21), others longer.

This job is not for everyone. To thrive, you need to:

• Be comfortable with close care work and personal hygiene

• Be able to take responsibility and work independently

• Be on time and keep your promises

• Be open to learning; you will receive an introduction and always have a colleague nearby.
