Do you want a key role in a business where order, leadership, and delivery are at the center? We are now looking for a Team Leader in Västerås – an opportunity for you who want to work close to daily operations while contributing to long-term development and improvement.

About the role

As a Team Leader, you have overall operational responsibility for daily production, employees, and delivery. You ensure that operations run according to plan and meet set goals regarding productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency.

You work close to the operations and are responsible for structure in daily work through planning, prioritization, staffing, and follow-up. With a hands-on leadership style, you create the right conditions for the team to perform and deliver steadily over time. In case of deviations or disruptions, you are expected to act quickly, make decisions, and drive the work forward until a solution is in place.

The role also involves responsibility for change and improvement work where you develop working methods, streamline flows, and strengthen results over time.

You monitor operations through KPIs and collaborate closely with other functions to ensure an efficient and well-functioning flow.

Your responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and distribute daily work in production
• Ensure that set goals are met regarding delivery, productivity, quality, and safety
• Responsible for staffing and resource planning based on operational needs
• Monitor results through KPIs and act in case of deviations
• Create structure in operations through clear prioritization and follow-up
• Drive improvement and development work within processes and working methods
• Work actively with occupational health and safety issues
• Develop, monitor, and create good conditions for employees
• Collaborate with other functions to ensure a well-functioning flow

Who are you?

You have experience from an operational environment and have taken the step into a leadership role where structure, clarity, and follow-up are important parts. You thrive working close to the team and have the ability to create the right conditions for work to function in practice – even during change.

When problems arise, you act quickly, take responsibility, and drive the work forward. You work in a structured manner and can prioritize in a daily life where the pace changes. Through clear communication, you create engagement and direction in the group.

The role suits you if you want to be close to operations, continue developing as a leader, and contribute to improvement and change over time.

Your background

• Experience from operational activities within logistics, warehousing, or production
• Experience in team leadership or a first leadership role
• Accustomed to working with follow-up and KPIs
• Experience in change work or improvement projects
• Experience in staffing and planning in operations
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
