Are you studying to become a software developer, engineer, or civil engineer and want to get your foot in the door of the tech industry while still studying? At Gigstep, we are now looking for a curious and driven student to join the Axis New Business team in Lund.

This gig is perfect for you if you want to put your studies into practice, develop quickly, and work closely with experienced developers in a top-tier team.

As a student employee at Axis, you will become part of New Business – a team passionate about quality and user experience.

You will, among other things:

• Work with testing from an end-user perspective

• Test both manually and automatically (scripted and exploratory)

• Collaborate closely with developers

• Participate in daily scrum meetings and contribute your insights

• Identify bugs and areas for improvement

You will also be assigned a mentor who supports you and helps you develop in your role.

You are a student at a university or college in fields such as:

• Data / IT

• Technical Mathematics

• Technical Physics

• Software Development

And you have at least 2 years left of your studies.

We also believe that you:

• Are comfortable with Python

• Enjoy problem-solving and debugging

• Have a basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)

• Are familiar with both Windows and Linux environments

• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English

Do you have previous testing experience? Great – but not a requirement!

• Location: Lund (on-site at Axis)

• Scope: approx. 2 days/week (more if needed)

• Assignment: Consultant via Gigstep
