We are looking for an experienced CNC operator for an industrial company in Bankeryd. The role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines for machining parts according to drawings and work orders. You will become part of the production team and work to ensure high quality, efficient workflow, and punctual deliveries.

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (milling and/or turning) based on drawings and work orders, ensuring that settings provide the correct tolerances and surface quality.

• Monitor machine processes, perform test runs, adjust tools and parameters as needed, and troubleshoot minor operational disruptions.

• Perform quality control, measure parts using measuring tools, document results, and report deviations to the production manager or quality responsible.

• Collaborate with colleagues in production, tool manufacturing, and assembly to ensure flow and delivery times, and contribute to problem-solving during production disruptions.

• Maintain and service machines, tools, and fixtures, and follow routines for safety, working environment, and housekeeping.

• Participate in continuous improvement work to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.

• Documented experience working as a CNC operator with programming and operation of milling and/or turning machines.

• Good understanding of technical drawings, tolerances, and machining methods.

• Experience in measurement and use of measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.

• Knowledge of tool selection, tool changing, and basic tool setting is considered a merit.

• Ability to work systematically, troubleshoot machine-related problems, and suggest improvements.

• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, for internal communication and documentation.

You are meticulous, solution-oriented, and responsible. You thrive in technical and practical work in a workshop environment, work both independently and in a team, and actively contribute to improvement work to enhance quality and efficiency.
