Salesperson in Fishing Van – Summer Job

We are looking for an enthusiastic salesperson for our client's fishing van during the summer season. As a salesperson for our client, you will work on the go, meeting customers in various environments such as squares, markets, and smaller events. Your main task will be to assist customers, sell fish and shellfish, and provide advice on cooking and storage. This role is perfect for you if you enjoy customer interaction, have a strong sense of service, and thrive on varied workdays.

• Greet customers in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Sell fish and shellfish, offering recommendations and recipe suggestions.
• Ensure proper handling, hygiene, and labeling of products.
• Handle cash register and simple administrative tasks related to sales.
• Load and unload goods, and keep the van and sales area presentable.

We are looking for someone who preferably has previous experience from retail or hospitality, but for the right attitude and willingness to learn, personal suitability weighs heavily. Key requirements:

• Valid B-driver's license (manual transmission) is required.
• Good teamwork skills and a service-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility in working hours, as weekends and evenings may be required.
• Basic numerical skills and attention to detail.
