Jakobs Stege is a construction company with experienced and skilled craftsmen who primarily work with apartment renovations. Our assignments come from construction companies, insurance companies, and property companies. We are a smaller company where you get the opportunity to influence your work and develop in your professional role. We are currently looking for several carpenters because we have a significantly increased demand in our projects and need to strengthen our team.

About the position

As a carpenter with us, you will primarily work with apartment renovations in larger construction projects. The work is interior-focused and includes, among other things, drywall, flooring, doors, kitchens, and other common carpentry work. You are part of a work team together with other carpenters and a foreman. You collaborate closely and help each other to ensure that the work maintains high quality and follows the schedule.

As a carpenter, you will among other things:

• Work with the installation of drywall, flooring, and doors.
• Perform carpentry work during apartment renovations.
• Install kitchens and other interior building components.

Responsibilities:

You are responsible for ensuring your work is performed with high quality and according to drawings and set timeframes. You contribute to the work team functioning well together and that projects are carried out in an efficient and professional manner. You are involved in maintaining order and safety on the construction site.

Desired profile:

• Swedish language skills in speech and writing.
• At least 4 years of experience working as a carpenter in Sweden (not cabinetmaking or furniture manufacturing).
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.
• You can read and understand drawings.
• You are self-motivated in your work.

Advantageous if you:

• Have language skills in Polish and/or Russian.

Other information:

• Start: Immediately.
• Working hours: 07:00–16:00 on weekdays.
• Location: Stockholm.
• Employment type: Full-time employment with a 6-month probation period.
