We are now looking for a Technical Manager

The company is part of a growing industrial group and is in an exciting phase of development with a focus on digitalization, investments, and future expansion. We are therefore looking for a Technical Manager who wants to help develop the business further.

About the role

In the role of Technical Manager, you will have a central position in the business where you work closely with production, customers, and management. You are a key person in the flow from inquiry to final delivery, with a particular focus on quotation work, preparation, and technical assessments.

You will play an important role in ensuring that calculations are correct, that the right solutions are developed, and that the business continues to develop technically over time. The role involves no personnel responsibility, but carries significant responsibility for structure, prioritization, and technical decisions.

You will work closely with the site manager, production leaders, and operators, while also maintaining dialogue with customers and suppliers. The role is both operational and strategic – one moment you are calculating a quotation, and the next you are considering future machine investments or improvement projects.

Your responsibilities:

• Work with quotation preparation, calculations, and post-calculations
• Responsible for the preparation of orders and production documentation
• Ensure profitability in business through accurate assessments
• Maintain dialogue with customers regarding technical solutions and assignments
• Collaborate with production in daily work
• Drive improvement work related to technology, flows, and working methods
• Responsible for planning regarding maintenance and technical equipment
• Participate in investments and future machine needs
• Maintain contact with suppliers and external partners

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have a technical background from the industry and experience working with quotations, preparation, or similar tasks. You have a good understanding of production and business, and thrive in a role where you can combine technology with administrative and coordinating tasks.

You do not need experience with thermal coating, but the most important thing is that you have a technical interest and the willingness to familiarize yourself with the business.

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and have a good ability to drive your own work forward. You thrive in an environment where you are given significant responsibility and where everyone helps each other. You are unpretentious and enjoy moving between the office and the workshop.

We believe you have a few years of experience from the industry, for example as a foreman, technician, or in a similar role, and now wish to take the next step in your development.
