Thoman & Fuchs Entreprenad AB is a company that works with the laying of fiber and electric cables for grid owners and other actors in the industry. The company has been working for over 15 years and has customers who place high demands on quality, safety, and efficiency. There is high competence in the teams and a clear pride in doing the job right from the start.

We are currently looking for a construction worker / paver because the need is increasing. Customers are strengthening their electricity and fiber networks, and we therefore need to strengthen our teams in southern Stockholm.

You will become part of a team where you mostly work together with an excavator operator but also sometimes with more construction workers depending on the size of the project. Your nearest managers are the production manager and the construction manager who support you in the ongoing work. The work is based from Norsborg or directly at the temporary workplace, depending on what is most efficient for the project.

As a construction worker / paver, you will among other things:

• Set up TA protection and prepare the workplace before start. You ensure that the work area is safe and ready before work begins.

• Remove slabs, dig to the correct depth, and help with cable laying. You work in several steps and are involved in both the construction and the restoration.

• Document the work continuously with photos and documentation for ÄTA (Electricity Safety Authority). You ensure that the correct information is passed on during the project.

• Lay cable sand and cover bands, and help drive the work forward according to schedule. You keep track of what needs to be done and what needs to be completed.

• Contact the construction manager when something deviates. You also help handle questions from people on site when you work in the urban environment.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for carrying out the work in a professional manner according to plans, requirements, and safety regulations. The role requires that you maintain good quality but also work efficiently. It is important that you do not wait for the next instruction all the time, but that you yourself see what needs to be done to keep the work moving forward.

Desired profile:

• At least 2 years of experience in the same profession

• EBR and ESA certifications

• Work in the City of Stockholm

• Work on road classes 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3

• Category B driver's license

• Swedish is the working language. English also works if you have the desire to develop your Swedish

• You need to thrive in physically demanding work

Meritorious if you:

• Have a Category BE driver's license • Have run your own business within contracting

Other:

Start: Immediately

Working hours: 07:00–16:00. Night work may occur if you wish, but it is not a requirement.

Location: Stockholm, primarily between Södertälje and central Stockholm.

Employment type: Full-time, permanent with a 6-month probation period.
