You & Us & The Job

As a van driver at PostNord, you are irreplaceable. You find the way, and your job is a journey towards climate-neutral freight transport. Transport is a must to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from the countryside to the big city. We work purposefully to reduce our environmental impact, and you will be an important part of this by, among other things, being trained in eco-driving. Together, we work to become fossil-free by 2030.

This position is a temporary employment with a 50% workload. The employment starts in week 21 and runs until and including week 27, with a chance for extension from week 32 to week 40. Your working hours will be in the evenings between 16:00 and 21:00, Monday to Friday. You will be based at Medevivägen 81 in Motala.

What you will do

• Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
• Meeting our customers where they are. Whether they are agents, private, or corporate customers.

Who you are

• Curious and self-reliant: A large part of the job you do alone, but team spirit is important.
• Patient & secure: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You keep the balance.
• Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are key words. As are orderliness and punctuality. Our customers must be able to count on you and their shipments arriving on time.
• Have good physical fitness: Yes, you are sedentary during the trip, but you need to be able to lift and carry during pickup and delivery. For this, you need good strength and mobility.
• Adaptable: Unplanned things require flexibility.
• Service-oriented: Customer relationships require the right attitude and feeling.
• You are unique: We place great importance on your personal qualities.

What you bring with you

• High school diploma, or currently studying the final year of high school.
• Class B driver's license and experience driving a car.
• Swedish in speech and writing.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and an ability to find solutions.
