Responsibilities
In the role of Scheduler, you will, together with program managers, lead project managers, and project managers, develop and maintain clear and quality-assured schedules at the program and project level. In your role, you will have a leading function in the programs' planning work and will be part of the program team where you support the program and related projects in maintaining updated schedules. As a Scheduler, you are responsible for identifying critical moments in the schedules and, via program and project management, communicating these to contractors and internally to the management at Svenska kraftnät. You have a good understanding of the critical path and dependencies in complex projects and actively work to analyze and manage deviations.
The position includes, among other things:
- Responsible for and further developing the program's overall schedule
- Coordinate schedules between several projects and main projects, as well as, if necessary, with connecting regional grids and other actors.
- Assist in projects for planning outages and commissioning
- Identify and visualize dependencies between projects
- Identify risks and opportunities for time optimization
- Manage changes in the schedule on an ongoing basis
- Participate in and lead scheduling meetings with project managers, lead project managers, program managers, and contractors/suppliers
- Compile and present status reports
- Review contractors' schedules during bid reviews
- Conduct uncertainty analyses of schedules
You will be part of a unit at the client working with program and project support for construction programs and construction projects. The role also involves contributing to the development of working methods, templates, methods, and processes for scheduling work at the client together with other schedulers in the unit.
Essential Requirements:
- The consultant must have a university degree in, for example, construction, civil engineering, or another relevant area, or alternatively at least 5 years of documented work experience as a scheduler in construction or civil engineering projects.
- The consultant must have at least 5 years of work experience, within the last 10 years, in the role of scheduler at the program level in large complex construction or infrastructure programs, where individual projects have a budget of at least 0.5 billion SEK.
- The consultant must have at least 5 years of work experience, within the last 10 years, in the role of scheduler with the planning tool MS Project.
- The consultant must have at least 4 years of work experience in scheduling at the program and portfolio level in construction or infrastructure projects where coordination between several projects is required.
- The consultant must have at least 3 years of documented work experience, within the last ten (10) years, of independently planning, analyzing, and following up outage dependencies in schedules for complex construction or infrastructure projects.

- The consultant must have at least 3 years of documented work experience, within the last ten (10) years, of independently planning, analyzing, and following up outage dependencies in schedules for complex construction or infrastructure projects.
- The consultant should have at least 3 years of work experience working with project control models or project control methodology.
- The consultant should have at least 2 years of work experience leading work with Monte Carlo simulation and uncertainty analysis of schedules.
- The consultant should have at least 3 years of work experience working in Primavera.
