Do you want to help build the future of Stockholm? Stockholm Water and Waste is driving one of Stockholm's largest societal projects – Stockholm's Future Wastewater Treatment (SFA). We are now looking for a driven and structured project engineer who wants to become a key player in this unique project.

About the role

As a project engineer, you will step into a central and supportive role with a main focus on being the right-hand person to one of their project managers within rock, construction, and civil engineering. You will become the project manager's closest resource in daily operations, giving you a unique insight into how large infrastructure projects are managed.

In addition to the close collaboration with the project manager, you will be responsible for driving the project's change management forward. This is a key function that gives you a unique holistic view and a broad network, as you will collaborate with all technical areas in the project – from rock and construction to electrical, automation, machinery, and HVAC.

You will handle varying administrative tasks in a complex environment and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders within the SFA project. Your technical interest will be of great importance, where your curiosity is crucial for your own development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the project manager with administrative management and relieve them of daily tasks.
  • Write minutes at construction and economic meetings and follow up on actions.
  • Review invoice documentation and handle orders from framework contractors.
  • Handle project administration such as documentation and project economics with economic follow-up and forecasting work.
  • Assist the contract and construction management with various tasks.
  • Drive and coordinate the change management process through various meeting forums in collaboration with different technical disciplines.

We are looking for you who

  • Have a university or civil engineering education with a focus on construction and civil engineering, or equivalent relevant education.
  • Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including work with macros as well as efficient processing and analysis of lists and large data sets).
  • Communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Have an interest in economics.
  • Are curious and have a strong drive to learn new things and take on tasks.
  • Have the possibility to work on-site at the project full-time.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience from rock and construction projects or civil engineering work.
  • Experience of working within a municipal or state agency.
