We are looking for a meticulous and service-oriented car painter for a client in Västberga. In this role, you will work in the workshop's painting department, responsible for preparation, application, and finishing of paint to ensure high quality and customer satisfaction. You will become part of a team where collaboration and clear communication are essential for efficient processes and short lead times.

• Prepare surfaces through sanding, masking, and cleaning prior to painting

• Mix and apply paint according to work orders and applicable color charts

• Work in the spray booth and handle equipment for wet and dry processes

• Perform fine sanding, polishing, and quality control to meet customer and quality requirements

• Document the progress of work in the workshop system and report deviations

• Collaborate with paint technicians, body shops, and service advisors for an efficient workflow

• Follow safety routines and environmental regulations, and handle chemicals safely

You are structured, quality-conscious, and have a genuine interest in painting and vehicle repair. You thrive in a practical work environment and can work both independently and as part of a team. The role requires attention to detail and experience in following work instructions and safety routines.

• Experience in car painting or equivalent professional experience is required

• Knowledge of color mixing and the use of spray equipment

• Good understanding of quality requirements and finishing techniques

• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Class B driver's license is required

• Education in paint technology or relevant certifications is an asset

The position is full-time, located in Västberga. Start date is by agreement.
