About Röda KvarnRöda Kvarn is an extraordinary cinema experience. Here, film, food, and community meet in an environment that breathes classic charm and modern creativity. Our à la carte menu is cinematic, with every dish inspired by iconic films such as Pulp Fiction, The Godfather, and Silence of the Lambs. We are a small workplace where ideas are valued, laughter is abundant, and we grow together with our staff.
A Day in the LifeYour day begins by receiving deliveries in the backyard and transferring goods onto a serving cart up to the kitchen via the elevator. Then, you prepare the cinema for opening, which takes about half an hour. Next, you prep the day's pre-orders to be ready for the first screening.
Sometimes the day starts with a breakfast screening or Afternoon Tea, where guests receive a tray of delicious treats to enjoy during the film. The day then continues with orders; some are served in the auditorium, others in the lobby. You cook the food and serve it when time permits; otherwise, your colleagues handle the service.
When the last film starts, around 19:00, things usually calm down significantly. There is plenty of time to prepare for the next day and clean the kitchen in a relaxed manner.
