As a Chemical Sorter for our client, you will work with the handling of hazardous waste and dangerous goods. It may sound advanced, but you do not need to know everything from the start. You will receive a thorough introduction and internal training that will allow you to gradually build both knowledge and confidence in the role.
Your workdays are varied and structured. You will receive incoming materials, make assessments, sort and label according to current regulations, and document the work digitally. The role also includes working on-site with our customers – both sorting and pedagogically helping them to do the right thing. You will never work alone in the new environment; you will always have clear routines and colleagues to rely on.
Working hours are Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00. Your base is at the branch in Östersund, but you will also work on-site with customers in the surrounding area.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with colleagues in various parts of the operations to jointly find safe and good solutions regarding hazardous waste and dangerous goods.
Document and register orders in a structured and simple way using a tablet.
Work on-site with our customers sorting hazardous waste, where you contribute to the quality of the material arriving at the facility and ensure that everything is correctly labeled for further transport according to legal requirements.
You are a person who:
Is meticulous, responsible, and likes structure
Has a secure attitude towards safety and follows routines
Enjoys collaborating but is also comfortable working independently
Treats customers and colleagues with respect and a service mindset
Is curious, humble, and eager to develop over time
You understand that your work matters for safety here and now, as well as for the environment in the long term.
Formal CompetenceClass B Driver's License
