About the role

Academic Work is seeking new motivated students for our student pool at Landvetter! As a terminal worker, you will work on an as-needed basis but must be available for at least 2 shifts per week. You will become part of our student pool, where we expect you to be available for booking, primarily for morning shifts.

Shifts are scheduled on weekdays from 04:00-09:00. Evening shifts from 16:00-20:00 may also be required.

You will become part of a team with a wonderful atmosphere and strong team spirit. Responsibilities

• You will handle incoming shipments from both air and truck, managing the entire process together with the rest of the team until the courier vans are loaded. You will work in close collaboration with the rest of the group in a periodically high tempo.
• Pallet and package handling
• Sorting and loading
• Package scanning
• Loading of courier vans

We are looking for you who

• Are studying a post-secondary education with at least 1-2 years remaining, without internship periods
• Can work morning and evening shifts
• Have at least six months of work experience
• Have your own car and a valid driver's license
• Speak and understand Swedish fluently, as this is required for daily tasks
• Have a clean criminal record check

It is an advantage if you:

• Have previous experience in a similar role

This role suits someone who is meticulous, flexible, and independent. We believe you are quick to learn and enjoy working in a high tempo. Since the work involves a lot of heavy lifting, it is advantageous if you are in good physical shape. We also look for someone who is open, social, and has no problem working in a group.

Additional information

The client's terminal is located adjacent to Landvetter Airport. The airport is a security-classified area; therefore, you will be registered according to the Swedish Transport Agency's regulations, and a criminal record check from the Swedish Police Authority will be required. We will also need to conduct a 5-year background check for security reasons.
