Responsibilities

SlangExpress is Hydroscand's mobile hose service, where we manufacture and replace hoses on-site at the customer's location. As a Service Technician for SlangExpress, you will serve customers on-site in the field using one of our service vans. The role also includes customer interaction and upselling. Your primary area of operation will be Karlskrona and the surrounding area, where you will work in close collaboration with other service technicians in the region. You will be based at our branch in Karlskrona.

You will work with preventive maintenance, inspection, and manufacturing of hydraulic hoses, as well as service and installation of central lubrication systems. Work within the branch office may also occur.

The Service Technician role is highly varied, with no two days being the same. The work can range from replacing a broken hydraulic hose on an excavator in the field to performing preventive maintenance during scheduled shutdowns at industrial facilities.

In the long term, the role will also include on-call duties, where emergency responses during evenings and weekends may occur during scheduled weeks.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a technical interest, preferably with a background in hydraulics and/or industrial technology. Experience as a service technician, assembler, or mechanic is an asset. To thrive in this role, you should be stress-resistant, flexible, appreciate a varied daily routine, and be service-oriented. Furthermore, you should be structured in your working methods and comfortable with both customer interaction and using a computer as a tool in your work.

A Class B driver's license and a habit of tinkering and fixing things are requirements.
