Work as an Inspector with Zeppelin – A Unique Role in the Mining Industry

Your New Role

As an inspector, you will have the opportunity to work with preventive maintenance on Caterpillar's largest mining machines. Your responsibilities include:

Inspecting trucks and wheel loaders.
Monitoring machine condition through regular inspections in the field and workshop.
Administrative tasks via our internal systems.

You will be part of a team working together to ensure our customer receives the best possible service. The location is Aitik, where you will work in the truck workshop within the mining area. Working hours are shift-based, 7 days a week, daytime 06:00–16:00.

Your Experience

Experience working as a mechanic or in a similar role is an asset, but the most important factor is your strong interest in machinery and how it functions. We consider a high school education with a focus on technology as a merit. Experience working with large machinery or previous experience as an inspector in another industry is also advantageous.

Knowledge Requirements

Proficiency in Swedish, both written and spoken.
English language skills, as troubleshooting and service literature are in English.
Computer literacy and an interest in using technical tools, as computers are heavily used in this role.
Valid driver's license (Class B) is required.

Attention to detail is crucial, as is a commitment to delivering high-quality service to the customer. You are self-reliant, proactive in identifying tasks, and eager to learn new things.
