Were you born in 2012 or earlier and looking for a meaningful summer job? The Cemetery Administration is now seeking summer youth workers who want to contribute to keeping our cemeteries beautiful and well-maintained.

As a summer employee with us, you will work outdoors in a calm and pleasant environment. Your tasks may include:

• Watering flowers and plants
• Painting
• Weeding and basic gardening
• Cleaning and maintenance of paths and green areas
• Assisting with general cemetery maintenance

The work is carried out together with supervisors and other young people.

About the Jokkmokk Parish

The Jokkmokk Parish covers a large area with a population of 4,800 people. The central town hosts most social and service functions and offers close proximity to nature. Jokkmokk is a Sami center with primary, secondary, and art/culture/complementary education with a Sami focus. This is also reflected in the worship life, with services held entirely or partially in Sami. Our community includes people from many different countries, which also shapes the parish's activities. The Jokkmokk Parish holds services in 9 churches and 5 church huts, and children's activities are conducted at 3 locations. The work team consists of approximately 18 people, including three priests.
