Lindholmen Technical High School has approximately 1000 students and 90 employees and offers Gothenburg's widest range of technical education – both practical and theoretical. Here, you can study the Electricity and Energy program, the Industrial Technology program, the Maritime program, the Technology program, and the HVAC and Property program.

The school is certified as a Teknikcollege, and the HVAC and Property program is also certified as a VVS-college, which implies close collaboration with the industry and high-quality education.

Responsibilities

As a vocational teacher with us, you plan, conduct, and develop teaching together with your colleagues in the work team.

You will primarily teach courses within the HVAC and Property program, and we prefer that you have experience in several areas such as: refrigeration, ventilation, property management, and gas welding.

You will work with practical and varied teaching where the students' development is at the center, and you will provide continuous feedback to help them reach their full potential.

An important part of the assignment is contact with the working life, and you will, among other things:

• Collaborate with companies regarding work placements (APL).
• Be responsible for students' work-based learning.
• Maintain dialogue with APL supervisors and companies.
• Participate in industry councils to develop education in line with industry needs.
• You will thus become an important link between school and working life.

The role also includes mentoring, where you support students in their studies and development. The work is done in collaboration with student health services, guardians, and external actors.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with professional experience in the HVAC and property sector with current industry knowledge and broad competence. A teaching license is desirable but not a requirement.

The most important thing for us is your professional skill and your engagement.

If you lack teaching qualifications, we can offer a fixed-term contract, and for the right person, there is an opportunity to study for teaching qualifications during employment. A vocational teacher's degree is required for permanent employment.
