Night Shift Operations/Maintenance Technician at Pågen in Gothenburg

About the job Production in the Gothenburg bakery has a highly automated process and a variety of different machines and equipment such as weighing/dosing systems, mixers, ovens, robots, and packaging machines. As an operations/maintenance technician, you will work across the entire technical area, making the role broad. Your tasks range from troubleshooting electrical systems and machines, repair, and preventive maintenance, to improvement work and technical projects. Together with your colleagues, you will support daily operations and ensure that our fresh bakery products are baked and delivered.

Who are you? We expect you to have basic electrical education and experience from an industrial environment. You are accustomed to reading wiring diagrams, as well as installing and connecting electrical components. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of how mechanical systems and machines are constructed and basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. This includes an understanding of drawings (dimensions, tolerances, and simple machine drawings), troubleshooting mechanical faults (vibrations, noise, wear, play, leaks), and practical execution of tasks such as bearing and belt replacement.

As a person, you are meticulous, solution-oriented, and safety-conscious. Good communication and collaboration are important, while you are also comfortable working independently.
