Perhaps you will find the right fit immediately, and when you do – you will know. You are the right person in the right place. And in healthcare, we need people like you.

Job Description

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are an important part of the care team and contribute to making daily life work as well as possible for patients who need help, support, and care. You collaborate with several professions and participate in treatments and examinations. Tasks vary depending on the workplace and activity, and to help us match you with the right position, you can specify your preferred focus area in your application.

About You

To work as a nursing assistant/care assistant, you must be a qualified nursing assistant. In somatic hospital care, most units require 200 credits in emergency care and a passed practical training (APL) for that course. You may also be a nursing or medical student who, at the start of employment, has completed the third term. To ensure we can offer our patients good and safe care, it is important that our employees can communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Our expectations of you are that you do your best based on your knowledge and ability, always keeping our purpose in focus – our patients. You treat patients and their relatives with empathy and respect, and you enjoy working in a team where you contribute to good collaboration. You take responsibility for your work, follow routines, and continue to develop as you settle into the role.

Application and Employment

If your application is relevant, a request will be sent via Refapp where you will need to provide your references for a digital reference check. Once the references are complete, we will contact you. A complete application includes:

  • Attached cover letter and CV describing your previous work experience. If you have completed internships, you may include this.
  • Attached certificates from education, license, or degree. If you do not yet have a degree, attach an extract of the courses you have taken (Ladok extract or high school grades).
  • Indicate the weeks you preliminarily believe you can work during the summer of 2026.
