With your experience, intuition, and drive, you will become a key person who inspires others and contributes to the development of both forests and people in the role of Forest Management Director.
With us, the forest, the people, and the business grow.
We are currently seeking a down-to-earth and business-driven Forest Management Director who wants to lead and develop our operations within operational timber supply. You will have overall responsibility for the forest management business segment – from strategic business work to operational execution – and lead a new team of forest management leaders.
As Forest Management Director, you will:
- Lead and develop operations: Ensure we work efficiently with high quality, develop the business, and drive change initiatives.
- Personnel responsibility: Be responsible for employees and the working environment, recruitment, development talks, and resource planning. Create a safe, engaged, and developmental workplace.
- Result responsibility: Set goals, follow up on results, and ensure the unit's mission is carried out in a resource-efficient manner.
- Collaboration and procurement: Collaborate with other operational managers, coordinate fire preparedness, and procure resources to support operations.
- Development and improvement: Participate in local and company-wide projects to improve working methods and processes within forest management.
You will have the opportunity to work independently while being part of an engaged team working in various ways with customer, business, and operational development within timber supply. The office location is flexible within our operational area, and you will report to the Director of Customer Experience.
Who are we looking for?
To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you are a natural leader who creates energy and engagement around you. You are analytical, strategic, and results-oriented, and can both challenge and inspire your employees.
Skills and qualifications we believe you have:
- Forestry competence and preferably sales experience.
- Experience in leading and developing both individuals and business operations through a coaching and clear leadership style that promotes employee development and business results.
- Result responsibility and experience in driving change and development work.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills and confidence in digital working methods.
- Class B driver's license.
