Do you want to lead and develop the forests of the future? Do you see all the possibilities of the forest and want to help shape sustainable forestry for tomorrow? With your experience, intuition, and drive, you will become a key person who inspires others and contributes to the development of both the forest and its people in the role of Forestry Manager.

With us, the forest, the people, and the business grow.

We are currently seeking a grounded and business-driven Forestry Manager who wants to lead and develop our operations within operational timber supply. You will have overall responsibility for the forestry business unit – from strategic business development to operational execution – and will lead a new team of forestry supervisors.

As a Forestry Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop operations: Ensure efficient work with high quality, develop the business, and drive change initiatives.
  • People management: Be responsible for employees and the work environment, recruitment, development talks, and resource planning. Create a safe, engaged, and developmental workplace.
  • Results responsibility: Set goals, follow up on results, and ensure the unit's mission is carried out in a resource-efficient manner.
  • Collaboration and procurement: Collaborate with other operational managers, coordinate fire preparedness, and procure resources to support operations.
  • Development and improvement: Participate in local and company-wide projects to improve working methods and processes within forestry.

You will have the opportunity to work independently while being part of an engaged team working on customer, business, and operational development within timber supply. The office location is flexible within our operational area, and you will report to the Director of Customer Experience.

Who are we looking for?

To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe you are a natural leader who creates energy and engagement around you. You are analytical, strategic, and results-oriented, and can both challenge and inspire your employees.

Skills and qualifications we believe you have:

  • Forestry competence and preferably sales experience.
  • Experience in leading and developing both individuals and business operations through a coaching and clear leadership style that promotes employee development and business results.
  • Results responsibility and experience in driving change and development work.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Good computer skills and confidence in digital working methods.
  • Class B driver's license.

What we offer

With us, you become part of our diversity-promoting work culture that helps you explore new perspectives and develop professionally. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to a more sustainable world, as we believe that everything made from fossil-based materials today can be made from a tree tomorrow. To keep you safe at work, we support your physical and mental well-being.
