About Us

We are Elkapsling – a growing industrial company located in Alby, just outside Ånge.

Here, we develop, manufacture, and market enclosures, pulpit solutions, cabinets, machine guards, and much more that protect electrical and electronic equipment in demanding environments.

All development and production takes place at our site in Alby, and our customers are primarily located in the Nordic region.

Elkapsling employs around 90 people and is part of Lagercrantz Group, a technology group operating in nine European countries as well as India, China, and the USA. The Role of Welder

As a welder with us, you will be part of our production, where we manufacture high-quality enclosures with short delivery times. You will:

• Work with blueprint reading and manual welding (TIG, MIG/MAG)
• Initiate and follow up on work in our business system Monitor
• Perform inspection and review of finished products against drawings or specifications
• Support other workshop tasks within production when needed

We work in a team-oriented manner, and you will contribute to both product quality and a tidy, pleasant workshop environment.

Who We Think You Are

You have education or experience within industry/technology and preferably experience with welding in your profession. Blueprint reading is an essential part of the role.

We consider it an asset if you have worked with TIG welding, other welding methods, and/or Monitor.

However, we also know that the right attitude can weigh heavily – if you have welded in your spare time and want to take the professional step, we will give you the chance to grow with us.
