About Us

We are Elkapsling – a growing industrial company located in Alby, outside Ånge.

Here, we develop, manufacture, and market enclosures, pulpit solutions, casings, machine guards, and much more that protect electrical and electronic equipment in demanding environments.

All development and production takes place at our site in Alby, and our customers are primarily located in the Nordic region.

Elkapsling has around 90 employees and is part of Lagercrantz Group, a technology group operating in nine European countries as well as in India, China, and the USA. The Role: Assembler

As an assembler with us, you will work practically and be involved in the manufacturing of our enclosures. The work is varied with a focus on quality, precision, and delivery. Your tasks will include:

  • Assembling enclosures and components according to drawings and instructions.
  • Performing machine processing such as drilling, cutting, and other machine operations.
  • Operating and setting up machines according to drawings and instructions.
  • Working with blueprint reading.
  • Initiating and following up work in our business system, Monitor.
  • Performing inspection and review of finished products against drawings or specifications.
  • Supporting other workshop tasks within production when needed.

We work in a team-oriented manner, and you will contribute both to the quality of our products and to the order and well-being in the workshop.

Who We Think You Are

You are accustomed to practical work, have good technical understanding, and feel confident working with machines and tools. Blueprint reading is a natural part of your work.

It is an advantage if you have experience of:

  • Assembly within industry or manufacturing.
  • Working with business systems, preferably Monitor.
  • Electrical, mechanical, or sheet metal knowledge.
