As a machine developer and designer with us, you will become part of a team of seven employees. The function develops, designs, builds, and commissions machines for Lindab's production units. The work is done in collaboration with the technical and production organizations for the receiving units where the projects are directed.
Main Tasks & Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and design solutions for machine systems for HVAC production.
- Responsible for creating CAD models, assemblies, and drawings using Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault as work tools, as well as supplementary documentation for the assignment.
- Create, dimension, optimize, and select technical solutions in collaboration with the team, the receiving unit, and in contact with technical component suppliers.
- Create sequence and pneumatic diagrams and describe machine functionality and process flows for electrical automation personnel.
- Ensure that machines and technical solutions are safe and meet existing requirements.
- Ensure manufacturability, verify designs with calculations and analyses, and compile technical documentation.
- Instruct and support personnel for machine assembly and commissioning.
- May involve driving various types of feasibility studies and technical projects.
Your Background
We are looking for someone with a technical education at university or bachelor's level, or equivalent experience/education. You preferably have experience from a technical or production company.
You have knowledge and interest in 3D CAD, strength analysis, and calculations supported by FEM methodology, as well as knowledge of machine safety.
It is a given that you handle both Swedish and English fluently in both speech and writing, and have experience with Microsoft 365.
Meritorious is knowledge of project management, hydraulics, vision technology, drive systems, automation, and robotics.
